Arrival Story: We rescued Buddy and Lady from a shelter just after we bought our house in 1996. They were found abandoned in a box in a box in the woods and someone heard their cries. Within a few weeks of coming home Buddy became very sick and stopped eatting. He was put on antibotics and I fed him catfood through a siringe every 3 hour for 5 days to keep him alive. He finallly began eating again and recovered.We never really knew what was wrong.
Bio: Buddy has mostly likely used up his 9 lives and borrowed a few from his sister. A few years latter Buddy became sick again and was diagnosed with Feline Urinary Track Disease. He has had several blockages over the years. He has scared use many times.. .Although we tried to keep Buddy indoors he often took advantage of company and quickly squeezed out the door before it closed.
He was hit by a car and missing for 3 day. When he returned home he suffered a broken jaw, in 2 places. Our Vet said he had most like been in a coma but during our relentless search he must have heard his name. Buddy has also been accidently locked in an elderly neighbors basement for 3 days, that time we thought lost him for good. Buddy's ears are crinckeled from wrestling and playing with Jake our yellow lab. At diffent times he had hematomas in each ear. His ears eventually curled and and crinckeled. Buddy misses his best friend Jake and tries hard to tollerate and even nuzzel with his new friend Diesel. He has also been lock in our own basement and attic. His curiostiy gets the best of him!
Buddy is a lovable, friendly cat. He loves to hunt and sleep in the sun. He and his sister play, wrestle bath each other in the evenings.
