2 years ago I spent the night in ER and came home on Christmas Eve. Yesterday I went to the dr to try to keep me from going to ER over the holiday. Mom just didn't like the way I was acting and was afraid I had had a stroke or seizure while she was at work. I was cranky and I smacked her when she picked me up. That's because my butt hurt. Found out yesterday that I ruptured an anal gland - who knew? Boy did it hurt. I got an antibiotic shot and a shot for pain. In talking with others who have had the same thing I guess I got off pretty light as some have to have ointment put on their butt after being cleaned daily. My dr did not say this. I go back on 1/2 for a re-check - Happy New Year - mol. I was sick this morning and mom is a little worried and glad she is home until after the first of the year now. I'm going to milk this for all it is worth and gets lots of good stuff while she is worried about me - my bad.
