Arrival Story:
After my Vandal lost his long time buddy, Oscar, a few years ago he was very depressed being the only cat. I was not truly ready to get another as I was still grieving very badly. Oscar was a gentle and loving cat so it was hard. As Vandal retreated into his sadness I realized I needed to get him a buddy..a friend's cat had a litter (yeah, she didn't get her young female spayed in time, sigh..roll of eyes) and still had one male kitten left looking for a home. I brought Tagger home and all heck broke loose! He was a maniac and still is..lol. Vandal actually got pretty stressed with this little Demon for the first little while, got sick with IBS and spent 8 days in the hospital! I was beginning to regret the decision.....then, when V returned from his extended vet stay Tagger was very nice to him and cuddled and groomed him. So anyhoo..all was mended and aside from him still harassing Vandal often they have worked out an amenable relationship...I knew Vandal was bonded when T went to the vet for his neutering and Vandal sat by the door and howled while he was gone......happy ending!!! BTW Tagger is still a pain in the butt the majority of the time...but we wouldn't have it any other way!!
