Arrival Story:
Josie was adopted from someone who had a litter of kittens when I was in college at Vassar in Poughkeepsie, NY. Angela, Stephanie (my former roommates and Josie's other mothers) and I went to the house to look at all those little cuties to pick one out. We liked Josie because she seemed the most "rambunctious." A word to the wise: the rambunctious ones turn out to be the ones with an "edge," let's say, when they grow up. But despite her issues, I've loved her more and more ever since that first night when I slept with her out on the couch because we were trying to contain her in that one room. We knew we'd stick together from that day on...

Bio:
Josie spent the first few years of her life living illegally in campus dorm rooms. It explains much of her eccentric personality today. She does much prefer having some more room these days. She's super affectionate, but when she's had enough, she let's you know (the hard way). She's not a big fan of other animals, but she adjusts to them pretty quickly. She seems to tolerate dogs more than cats-- presumably she doesn't respect dogs as much. Those fools! She is getting along quite well with her new dog sister, except when her cat toys are taken or when mom spends too much time cuddling with the dog. Hiss!
