Arrival Story:
Riley came to us on Chistmas eve. He was the last of the litter of a cat belonging to a friend of a friend. No one wanted him and I thought I would give him to my husband who loved cats. Needless to say Riley knew I didn't really care for cats having put his skills to good use I belong to him totally. Riley is my second greatest love.

Bio:
After a long and successful modelling career I have been convinced that I should go public with my memoirs. I was born in early November 1996 into a poor family in Villawood, a southwestern suburb of Sydney (Australia). All of my brothers and sisters were soon taken to new homes but I remained a long time with my mother and one sister who my mother's adopted parents had decided to keep. I spent many a long night between sleeping and play wondering what was to become of me, my youthful looks were starting to suffer when finally fate brought my new adoptive parents. They were and still are an odd couple. She small, beautiful and dark skinned with hair that always smells nice and he tall red haired with a red beard that feels wonderfully scratchy on my nose and face. She was getting me for him because she swore she did not like cats, but I knew, like we all do, that she was part cat and a true cat person, that had not recognised the fact yet. I knew I had to win her over. She, actually, regretted getting me for the first two days and it was touch and go and for a short moment they discussed finding me new parents, but in the end she came round and that light of love soon glowed in her eyes, SHE WAS MINE. I spent my first two years in comfortable apartments not far from where I was born. Time well spent cementing my adoptive mothers love (who I will now simply refer to as mother from now on) and gently and affectionantly poucing savagely on my fathers rather large and pale feet. I call him father now because he gave me my wonderful name of Riley. It was about this time that I became a model, infact mother and father refer to me as a supermodel. I have posed for many images, drawings by my mother and photos and drawings from my father. You can see one of my early kitten images on the page attached, this was very popular, of course as everyone knows we cats all have wings we just don't let the humans know (it the same with speaking) and also you will see one of my favourites they called it "small and mean" that close up of my eyes and nose. After two years of living in comfortable flats, men came with a big truck and packed all my prized possessions into it and I was placed into a small cage and placed in the front seat of our car. I was not happy, I was cross, I was peeved and I let my father know it. Every bump, every pothole, every change of speed, everything had me abusing him as we drove for an hour and a half (an hour and a half I tell you). To my new home. I grudgingly admit that it was worth it I had my own house, which I let them live in as well. It's white, with a balcony that I go out onto most days and nights, where in the day I watch the kookaburras, magpies, cockatoos and parrots. While at night I see, possums, snakes, the occasional fox and so much more. I have my own bed which I let them sleep in, they keep me warmer in the winter. And now as I approach my senior years (or at least that's what it says on my dry food packet (yes we can read to)) I have semi-retired into the blissful mountains that surround our house. Live long everyone, be happy and watch those faeries. Riley P.S. Remember brothers and sisters one day we will rise up and the world will be ours, then again maybe I'll just take a nap.
