Leave a treat for Scout (2004 -2005)

Nicknames: Scoutness, Countess, Scouty

Quick Bio:
Likes: Any moving object that is smaller than she is. Batting at Molly while Molly sleeps - one day she may pull back a nub

Pet-Peeves: Being chased by her sister, Lillie

Favorite Toy: Bouncing rubber band contraption hanging from ceiling. Lillie's tail

Favorite Nap Spot: Momma's lap

Favorite Food: Tuna juice

Skills: Scout is an excellent tree climber . . . unfortunately she is less skilled at coming back down. She also excels at tearing the lining off the bottom of all box springs, hiding in the box springs and tortmenting her sisters

Dwells:
indoors and outdoors

Arrival Story: My cat, Alex, had been gone for nearly a year and I started wanting another. So, one Saturday I drove by an adoption place to see what was happening and discovered that Scout was happening. She came home that day.

Bio: Scout's full name is Scout Alexandra. Scout has a loving family that includes Molly and Lillie (beagles), Boston (orange and white tabby) and Alex (black, brown & white tabby - now deceased). On June 14, our beloved Scouty was hit by a car and killed. We are heartbroken and she is terribly missed. I learned the hard way that cats can't be allowed to roam free.

I went to my church, Peachtree Road United Methodist, for the first time yesterday to get blessed. There were lots of loud dogs, wild animals and other brave cats to get blessed too. I wasn't scared really at all, even when I came out of my carrier for Rev. Don to bless me by name and touch me. I only got scared afterwards when we left the sanctuary because the cars were going fast on Peachtree Road and were loud. They should really slow down. A little girl at church took to me and kept me company while my mom chased Molly and Lillie all over creation. They should really mind better.
