Ever since Purrcy went to the great Rainbow Bridge, the rest of us cats here in Purrland have been neglected.
Our mumma cries ALL the time. We try to cheer her up by asking fur food incessantly - but that doesn't seem to help.
I jump on her car almost efurry time she drives in and scratch up - or ummmm - enhance the paint job to the best of my ability - but she doesn't seem to care.
How can we help our Mumma?
Any cats got ideas?? Purrlease let us know!

Oh sweetheart, you have to understand it's still very fresh. Purrcy hasn't been gone that long and instead of begging for food try begging for lovies. Maybe give your momma extra kisses and let her know you love her. And your momma should LET you cuddle with her as much as you want to. Which I hope you do want to. Tell your mom we're sending her whisker kisses and purrs of comfort.
It is very very hard , you know she misses Purrcy so very much. Time does heal though, and if you purr a lot and give her headbonks it will help some. Just be a patient kitty and love your Mama.
Get on your mommy's lap and start purring. Then look deep in her eyes and don't let her look away until she can only see you. Then give her a nuzzle, turn around and put a little tail fur in her face so she smiles. Make a few biscuits in her lap and stay there purring until she puts you down. I had to do that a lot when Misha flew to the bridge. At first she will pet you to be polite but don't worry stick with it. You live there because she loves you and she will gives you lots of loves soon.
Love and purrs,
and hugs from my mom too.
Hi, Caspurr: It takes time, believe me. Mom got me too soon after she lost Angel Mei Li. She didn't have a chance to mourn. She wanted to take me back. But now she wouldn't give me up for anything. Time heals. It will just take her a while. Even after 13 years she still misses Mei Li.
Happy Cat of the Day Caspurr!
Your Mom will soon be building memories with you who are left behind. She will soon want to remember the good times with you that she's going to be making; while Purrcy stays unobtrusively in her heart. She will soon focus her attention on all of you as you will always be needing her attention now. You'll all create happy memories of doing things together, and she won't want to miss them!
I came to say Congrats on being Cat of the Day and just read this. O Caspurr, I am so sorry your mom is sad. My mom was just lost after her cat before me died. It was a turning point in her life.
It does take time. Especially since your mom had such a special connection to Purrcy. Maybe your mom can break out some toys and do some playing with you kitties. It might cheer her up a little and you will get attention without food.
