Arrival Story:
I was wandering around my neighborhood, trying to stay away from my mean human captors, when I happened to stray into a yard with people who talked to me and gave me tuna. It was Eutopia! I kept visiting them and getting tuna, pretty much every day. One day they let me into their big box. I looked around and then went back out again. I started going in their big box all the time and even started taking naps there. One night, they let me sleep on their bed with them and I was in love. I never went back to that old prison.

Life with my humans has been really great until lately. They brought home this, this, THING. It's small and cute and I HATE IT! They follow it around and call it Boo. It won't leave me alone. I've started going outside more and more to get away from that evil little monster. I can't wait until they send it back.

*dialing 991 with dainty, perfectly groomed paw*

991. What's your emergency?

Hello? Is this the Cat Abuse Hotline?

Yes it is. What is your emergency, please?

My mama is out of tuna!

Ok, calm down. Are you sure? Have you meowed repeatedly?

YES! I'm telling you, she looked at me and said we have no tuna!
Then she WALKED OUT OF THE KITCHEN like it was no big deal!
*breathing into a little paper bag, hypurrventilating*

She didn't run out the door to the store?

NO! She went back to the bedroom and started typing stuff!

Are you sure she isn't getting tuna back there?

I'm sure! She came back out to the kitchen so I came running, meowing desperately the whole way. She poured herself coffee, told me she hadn't miraculously found any tuna in the bedroom, then went back there again. She doesn't even care!

Ok, stay where you are. I'm dispatching units to your location. This will not be tolerated. Keep meowing at her and hang in there!

Thank you! Please! Please hurry!!

KK's note: As soon as I get dressed and ready, I'm going to Wally World for Tuna. At ease, everyone. At ease.

Where Are My Manners?

I am SO embarrassed! Will all the fuss and ado regarding "Boo's Thread Eating and Thread Art in Dad's Office Fiasco" - (Wow, that's a long name. I may have to rethink that one...) - I completely forgot to thank my friends for the birthday wishes!

I received several nice messages (even though the focus switched from MY b-day to Boo's poo) and even got special gifts from Cat's and E&E's families! They are so nice!!!

Yes, Boo is fine. He's back to his "regular" (pun intended) self and is annoying me no end!! I now regret being worried about him. I think he ate that thread just to get attention and a bunch of "Power of the Paw" rosettes.

Innyhoo....I'm sorry it has taken me so long to express my cat-i-gratitude. I very much appreciate the thoughtfulness of all the wonderful CCL's out there!

My B-day...Not So Hot

Ok, so it's my b-day. I'm kind of worried.

You know how I absolutely cannot stand my brother, Boo? How I'm always wanting him to disappear? Go away? Get lost? *Poof*? Well, this isn't exactly what I had in mind.

Dad was in Boo's downstairs Master Suite Retreat trying to be Martha Stewart and repair some old shoes by sewing them back together. Apparently Dad didn't get all the thread picked up and....well, you know how Boo feels about anything on the floor, or a chair, or a desk, or within range of his mouth? He tried to eat it.

Dad went downstairs this morning to release the beast and wondered why Boo wasn't coming upstairs. He went back down to check on him. Boo was batting at a piece of thread in his mouth that was stuck to something in the room. Dad cut the thread and tried to pull the rest out of Boo's mouth, but it wouldn't come out.

So, Dad took Boo to the *hurgh* vet's office and had to leave him there for at least an hour for them to see if they can get it out. He's not home yet, Mom's at work and worried sick. Even I'M worried an I don't even like him. No matter how I feel, I would never wish anyone harm or illness. Sometimes I like to joke about how I want him gone, but now I really feel bad.

I want him home and healthy so I can detest him and smack him down again every day.

KK's note: I'll update again when I know more. Prayers and paws crossed please.
