New Hope

Life is great here!

I my goodness life is so great here! I'm warm, well fed, I get all the attention I could ever ask for, there's other cats to play with and I'm even starting to get along with the 2 older, quieter dogs here.....the puppy i'm still scared of(1 dog is 7yrs old, 1 dog is almost 5yrs old....her b-day is on the 6th and the puppy will be 1 yr old on the 10th). Plus there's birds that I get to watch as long as I leave them alone and some other animal........Spitfire said it's called a ferret.....I'm not sure about that animal yet but it's interesting to sniff and watch. I'm starting to get along with the other cats too. Me and Spitfire like chasing each other around playing tag. She is about the same age as I am but boy is she tiny!!!!!!! She is less then half my size almost. Mom said she is going to have to get a picture of us together. There's other animals here to but mostly I just leave everything else alone.

Mom said I'm very special.........

The other night my new mom and dad were arguing and I was laying in the living room. All of a sudden I started getting this wierd feeling like something was wrong and something bad was going to happen. I went running into the room my mom was in crying the whole time. I jumped up on her lap, wrapped my front legs over her left shoulder and started purring and shoving my head against hers as hard as I could. See my new mom has a really bad anxiety disorder and she can't tell when her anxiety levels are getting too high before it's too late. Because of the way I was acting my dad asked if she was ok and she asked him why. About a minute or two later she went into a really, really bad anxiety attack and dad had to help her. I stayed with her the entire time purring in her ear, crying and shoving my head against hers. She was very proud of me for letting them know that something was going to happen.

I get to stay!!!!!!!!!!

Oh wow I'm so excited!!!!!!!!!!!! My foster mom talked to my foster dad tonight about what they were going to do with me. She said that the longer I stay the more attached she is going to get and the harder it will be to give me up. So they really needed to decide if they were going to keep me or take me to a shelter. He said that he couldn't see taking me to a shelter after they just took me to the vet and spent a lot of money to make sure i'm healthy and got me my shots, he definately is not going to throw me back outside and so the only option that left is for me to stay here and get loved to death!!!!!!!!!!! Which means after 2 weeks of no one claiming me I am officially a member of this wonderfull mixed family(well ok the dogs are NOT wonderfull but everything else is)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
