Arrival Story:
Some neighbor girls claimed he followed them home, but their mom didn't want to keep the cat. He had a harness on, but we never found his previous owners. He had a high fever and we had to rush him to the vet & take care of him the first weekend we let him in our house. He had a seizure or something that weekend and we thought we lost him, but he rebounded and was fine after that. We told the neighbor we had paid the vet bill, we were keeping him.

Bio:
Shortly after moving into our new house was heard a ruckus in another room, we found Arlo next to a large box of catnip someone had given us. He had ripped open the box, spread the contents, and was rolling in it. Our others cats wanted in on the action, but he was a surly drunk and kept whacking at them. It was the only time I ever remember him misbehaving. In August 1997 when I pregnant and past due date, Arlo went missing. I found his body next to a ravine but I couldn't reach him because my belly & the slope he was on. My husband wrapped him up and we buried him in our yard under the tree we bought to plant for my baby. We buried him with his toy rainbow ball and frozen vegetables. He was the first of our pets to die, and all of the others have been buried or had their ashes spread with him at our pet memorial. I cried so hard, my nose started running and when I blew my nose my water started leaking. My baby was born two days later.
