Arrival Story:
This is a page dedicated to a beautiful little girl I called Calli and her sweet babies. Calli and her brother started coming to my house and another neighbor's house to eat. She was a sweet, wonderful kitty. We thought they were homeless. I later learned that the people in the house behind me claimed to be her family. Calli was going to have kittens and I tried to help her out and one day she came to the house and she was getting ready to have her babies. It was cold outside and she had nowhere to go. I took her in, got her some blankets and she had her babies in the bedroom. I cared for her and them for about 10 days. They were getting so cute. Somehow the other family found out she was there and the man came to the house screaming and threatening with his children standing around him. I was so caught off guard and frightened as I lived alone and I gathered up Calli and the Babies in their little blankets and the children carried them away. I never saw the babies again. They gave them away while they were still way too young. Calli got very depressed. Her personality changed so much. They were horrible pet parents and she got sick and passed. Not long after that, her brother passed also. I was young and had not live here long, did not know many people and worked and went to school about 18 hours a day. I did what I thought I could to help them, but I will always regret not being able to save this beautiful cat family. Over the years these people have brought home numerous other pets and none of them, dogs or cats, seem to be around very long. They told me they did not get them fixed because the children wanted to see the babies. How many other pets are suffering because of this warped behavior that is being passed on to new generations?
