Arrival Story:
Teddy showed up in the barn and was extremely shy of contact for the first year. He wouldn't even allow a picture to be taken. Of course, he started on the same premium cat food I feed all my kitties. I was working overtime quite a bit and didn't have time to make friends until I switched careers. Immediately, I started to befriend this little boy and he took to me slowly. Finally, one winter he decided I was not going to hurt him and let me pat him and scratch his face. He'd come running when I called his name and sometimes ignored food to be scratched and loved! His condition improved markedly once I started feeding him quality cat food and he obviously felt better. He was a great little buddy around the barn and will followed me around all day. He would not let anyone else near him. Teddy was a great addition to my kitty-furrmily!
Bio:
Teddy didn't come home for 2 days and when he did, he was badly hurt. He never left the area of the barn, so I believe some animal got to him in the woods out back. He was probably trying to get back to his bed in the barn for most of his absence. I found my sweet Teddy curled up in his bed, barely breathing. He looked up at me when I touched him and mewed....then went to sleep forever. I didn't even have the chance to take him to the vet. I will miss his presence in my life for the rest of my life.

I love my life here at Rainbow Bridge, but boy, do I miss Mom! Snow was one of my favorite things about living in the Midwest and we will have about a foot of it by this time tomorrow at home! I wonder if I can control my wings well enough to fly through the snow and make a drift for my Mom? Hmmm....I believe I will try!

Wow...my first birfday at The Bridge was pawesome! All of my new furriends were so kind as to give me a big pawrty and I got a little giddy on iced nip tea....oh, and there were nip creme DONUTS! I have a big sweet tooth, so that was especially great! Thanks to all of my Catster buddies and to my Bridge furriends for making my big day so special!

MEOW! I'm suddenly at Rainbow Bridge! I got hurt and Momma didn't know where I was for two whole days...she called and called and I didn't show up for mealtimes. I finally was able to make it back home and into my bed, where Momma found me. She was crying and saying "Poor Teddy"....I was just TIRED and after I went to sleep, Momma wasn't there anymore! The otherkits here told me she'll show up "someday", but when is that? It's nice here and I've made lots of furriends, but I miss Mommy! Why can't she come here just to visit? I'm gonna try and visit her, at least once in awhile. I miss my barn and my nice warm Earth sun...the Bridge sun is nice, but not the same without Mommy.
