Can't they just leave an old lady alone?

peace and quiet at last

Ahhhh.. the joys of being an old lady. After a bit of an infection in my kidneys, the human decided that what I needed most was peace and quiet. I'm just too old to keep up with those youngsters and they certainly don't know how to give an old lady a break. So now I get to hang out all day by myself in the master bedroom. Lots of space, lots of places to cuddle up and a big king sized comfy bed that I get to call all my own. Finally, peace at last. And when it comes night time, I don't even mind sharing the bed with Jelly Bean. And to top it all off, the human even leaves the TV on for me =)

I am not sure what had gotten into this boy! Here I am, my poor old bones, trying to sleep last night and what does the crazy kid do? He attacks and jumps on me in the middle of the night! He swears it was just a reaction to a bad dream he had but I dunno....

If it was a bad dream, then I'm going to have to put a stop to him watching all those horror movies. I will not have him acting like a raving lunatic in my house.

Home alone... almost

Well, I almost get the house to myself again. Almost, since Nemo will be here. That's okay, he's really not a bad kid. He even likes my food, unlike Seth and Smeagol.

I think we'll watch some Animal Planet and maybe I'll even pop some popcorn later.

Oh wait, that will smell up the house and I can't let the human know that I know how to pop popcorn.

Yeah, silly human, she just has no clue about what us cats do while she's gone. She thinks maybe the kid human did it or she did it and just forgot. Silly her, she never expects it to be me because I play the "old decrepid Aunt" part soooooooooo well.

She will never learn my secret identity, as us super kitties have to keep that to ourselves!
