Busy busy holiday season!

Just so my catster peeps don't think I've fallen off the planet and disappeared, I'm letting you cool cats know that I will be in short supply for the next few weeks. Between traveling to this show or that show, the human has company coming into town and she's been make us all help her clean up during our awake time. And you how us cats are, that means when I'm not sleeping my normal 23 hours a day, I'm cleaning up that remainding hour, which is cramping into my Catster time.

But, I have been assured that after the holidays, I will be able to spend more time back on Catster with all my cool friends.

So until the next time... keep it real, keep it cool and ALL have a wonderful holiday!

Nope, I can't sleep. I was going to take a cat nap, but darn it, it's just not working for me today. I'll get settled, and just when I think I'm about to fall sleep, something starts to bug me and I can't get comfortable. Wonder what gives?

Moanday morning.....

Moanday you ask? Yes, today is a moanday.... you see, I ate to much last night and now my tummys all boo boo feeling.

I know I know, I shouldn't eat to much but it was really good food and I couldn't help myself. I keep trying to explain to the human that she really needs to leave a few Tums out for me too, but she's not picking up on my clues.

I even got her bottle of Tums and put it next to my food dish and I guess she thought I just knocked if off the table, as she didn't set any out for me.

Hum.. you think if I wrote her a nice letter explaining what I need that she'll believe I wrote it? Of course I know us cats are not suppose to reveal to our humans that we can talk, let alone write, but at times like this, when my belly is all oogy, it sure would be easier to just open my mouth and tell her exactly how I feel.

Not to worry guys... I will not break the unspoken rules of the brotherhood of the cat, but there are times when I certainly feel the rules need a bit revising.

(ponders for a moment)

Oh wait... if they found out we could read, write and talk, I guess they would try and make us work?

Scrap the letter, scrap the talking... Guess I'll just have to find a way to open up that jar of Tums myself.

The last thing I wanna do is be put to work!

The blow dryer

So I gotta know, what is it about the blow dryer that makes me go bonkers? I mean, when the human turns it on, it's like someone else takes over my body and I go crazy! I get this urge to run around the room like I've got a bug in my butt. I go round and round and round the bed as fast as I can. Then, as the human is drying her hair, I hop up on the bed and proceed to bat her with my back feet and then do the rolly polly roll all over the bed.

Yes, the blow dryer possess my body and takes over! It's channeling it's life through me.

AND I DON'T LIKE IT!!!

I feel like Jeklye and Hyde! Ugh!

Anyone else affected by the blow dryer like this?

So a bit about my trip to San Mateo CA for the big Cat- show....

The CFA Int'l Show was great fun! I got to meet sooooo many fun people and even wound up with my picture - and my humans - on the front page of the local paper.

Yes, while it was NOT Hollywood, the kind folks of San Mateo DID see my star potential! I was, for a couple of days, a local celeb! Go Me!

Actually, it was really great seeing the human talk to so many spectators about us hairless chicken cats. She would take me out, let them pet me and show me off, which I love. Yes folks, it's true, I am truly an attention loving kitty!

We spent the weekend with some roomies, who were the best, and I even pulled my late night stunt with the toilet seat on one of the other humans. Oh boy! What great fun! Hee hee.. nothing better than seeing the humans jump when they sit on such a cold and wet seat! Hee hee hee... evil Schmeeps indeed!

I got LOTS of toys at the show and even wound up bringing home 4 rosettes, that made me happy.

But the best memory of all was being the proud daddy of Gizmo who came home with the 5th best shorthair kitten in show! That's a pretty cool award considering this show is the "Westminster" of catshows and there were over 800 cats! I got all teared up but don't let the human know that, she'll tease me as will the other cats.. so shhhh.... that bits a secret!

Yes my fellow Catster Peeps, I had a good time my first trip out to sunny CA, so much so that I may just have to go back next year!
