indoors and outdoors Arrival Story: My family owned a rabbit for seven years named cinnamon. Cinnamon died in July of 2002 which made us all very sad. It was odd not having a pet around but we decided that we would adopt andother rabbit in the spring. Around late October a random cat showed up at our door step. He was arround occasionally so we left out some food that we got from our neighbors who owned cats at the time. The cat started to live on our front porch and so we decided to name it. We randomly guessed that the cat was a girl so I came up with the name Miffy. Miffy seemed happy enough all through October and the early part of November. When it started to get cold we decided to let Miffy live in our garage so that she could stay warm. My dad who is super allergic to all cats liked the idea of having her around but didnt want cat hair in the house for obvious reasons. It went on like this for many weeks. I would spend hours in the garage with Miffy bonding with her and playing. I took her to the local animal shelter to get her checked out and it turns out that she was a boy! We now had a boy cat named Miffy. The name stuck. Its great. In mid January my dad took my sister for a week trip to Austin, Texas. During this period of time Columbia, Maryland got 3 feet of snow in a blizzard. I started letting Miffy in the house because even the garage was unbareably cold. When my dad got back he decided that his allergies were not reacting as expected so it would be alright to keep Miffy in the house. As you can imagine it went from there. Miffy is now our most favorite cat around and we adore him. Bio: Before he lived with us Miffy was the dreaded boss of the columbia cat mob (headquarters are located in the storm drain at the bottom of my yard.) He was very strict and very cruel to hundreds of cats all over columbia. One time He provided a shipment of Whisker Lickin's to Alley the cat's parents. They ate all of the Whisker Lickin's and couldnt pay miffy back for them. He had them taken care of right in front of Alley's eyes! She is scard to this day.
When he found a home with us he decided to give up the mob life. Sometimes his goons still come around looking for him but he says "nah man, i've gotta family now!" and that takes care of that.
He does enjoy a fight or two every so often, just for sport of course. Lives Remaining: 7 of 9 I've Been On Catster Since:
