Arrival Story:
I wanted a kitty companion so I started looking around at the local Humane Society websites. I saw Gus online and was immediately drawn to his description (cool cat, good with animals). I went that weekend to check him out, and he was even sweeter and more cool in person. And, really, the big, goofy, blue, crossed eyes did the trick. So I adopted him!
Bio:
Gus was 5 years old when I got him from the shelter, so I don't really know much about his life before we met. He inhales his food and has a scar across his nose, so maybe he was a stray for a while? He's got all of his claws and loves to play, but I've never seen him do anything (swat, hiss, bite) in anger. He likes to have his belly rubbed and he lets me sleep with my arm around him like he's a stuffed animal. He's a very sensitive guy - if he sees me cry, he harasses me with meowing and love bites until I stop. Gus is definitely a lover!
