one year at the bridge...

I'm a bit sad today. Exactly one year ago today, I came to the Rainbow Bridge. I was only 11 months old- just 2 weeks shy of my 1st birthday. I was so little but so full of life and spirit. Meowmy always said I lived a fast life. She misses me so much and to this day, doesn't understand why I left so early. I send her small signs and she knows I am ok. I have met so many new furriends up here as well as have been joined by my little sisfur, Penny. I am healthy and vibrant and free of pain, but meowmy would give anything to hold us again.
For any of you that have lost your pets recently or previously, do not worry. We are so happy up here. We miss you just as much as you miss us. We have pawties and gatherings with tons of food and fun. We have games and we live amongst all animals.
And even though meowmy is sad today, she is comforted by our new furriends and the fact that so many wonderful people love their furries as much as she does.
So the next time you see a rainbow, think of us. We send them to earth as a reminder of our love and our arms stretching around each of you with one big giant hug.

from up here at the bridge

for all of you loving families out there with furpets up here at the rainbow bridge, please don't fret. We are all ok and are having a great time with each other. I never knew there was this much to do up here. We are all still right there with you in spirit and we miss you more than you ever know. We look forward to the day we can all be together again, but for now - we are ok. We love you and miss each of you as much as you do us. anytime you want us especially near, just close your eyes and listen for the chirping of the birds or feel the warm rays of sunshine beating down on your face. That's us - the chirps are those of Charlie and his friends when we are chasing them and the sunshine - that's when we are carrying this big old rainbow across the sky after it rains.
