Arrival Story:
I bought her from a breeder to be a companion to my other kitten (a Siamese, now deceased). He hated her on sight, and she had to learn to live her life under the paw of a dominant, rather mean cat. She succeeded brilliantly.

Bio:
Hatshe is incredibly intelligent, has a great memory, and is very sweet. Her special sign of affection is a lick on the end of your nose. She is very selective about who she gives this favor to. Hatshe co-starred in a children's book called "The Spell," by Lynn Beach. A witch in the book had a very smart cat named "Ha-chee." The picture on the cover was drawn from a photo of Hatshe. At the end of 2004, Hatshe was featured in a local newspaper article. She has definitely had more than the normal fifteen minutes of fame. (ADDED AFTER HER DEATH): Hatshe died on January 7, 2005. Her last weeks were rather difficult, as we and she had to adjust to a range of progressing illnesses. Throughout it all she never lost her sweet, loving nature. I miss her terribly, but feel that her spirit is still with us and always will be.
