Arrival Story:
I was looking to get a kitten, because I had been living on my own for a couple years, and really missed having a pet in my life. My ex-boyfriend and I went to the local animal shelter, where they had maaany many cats and kittens. I chose a kitten because I wanted a cat from the very beginning of it's life. It was hard to choose, there were so many beautiful cats and kittens there that deserved a home. I had originally planned for a gray (blue) kitten, but eventually fell in love with Kitty's colouring and polka-dotted belly. ;) We kept going back a couple times a week to visit her and the other cats at the shelter, until it was time for her to come home. Unfortunately we could not adopt more than one cat, but thankfully, the rest of her brothers and sisters also found homes.
