Arrival Story:
Well Tiger doesn't look like a Tiger at all, but he sure does fight like one! When I was in 1st grade my family and I lived in the Azores (little island off of Portugal) and these boys were throwing a poor little kitten down the hill. I ran down there scooped him up and took him home. He was completely wild! My dad absolutely hates cats so my mom mad me call him at work to ask if I could keep him, of course, my dad said no. So I ran upstairs into my bedroom and locked the door. Tiger was going absolutely insane, like I said, he was wild! By the time my dad got home I had scratches head to toe and tiger was clinging onto the curtains for dear life. My dad said that if I wanted the cat that badly then I could have him, but I had to domesticate him. It took a long time, but now he adores me, tolerates my mom, and can't stand my dad or brother! haha
Bio:
My dad didn't start accepting Tiger until I was in the 10th grade. You see, my dad has a terrible fear of snakes and we had a pond in our backyard so occasionally there are snakes around the house. One day Tiger was sitting at the front door swatting at something and my dad was the first to notice, his exact words were, "What is your stupid cat doing now?" I walked up to see and low and behond Tiger was chewing off the head of a 5 ft water moccasin (spelling?). After that my dad went out to the pond caught 5 fish and stuck them in a bowl on the back porch for Tiger. They've had an understanding ever since, my dad stays out of his way, and he kills the snakes!!!
