Being B - I - G! HUGE! He is also a very good model and willingly poses for me (more photos soon). If he could talk, he'd sound like Barry White!
When I moved from southern to northern California in July 2006, two friends took in Pi and Little Doll until I could find them a ride up to me in December 2006. I knew they were going to be moving and needed to find homes for rescued cats from their area; so, in gratitude, I told them I would take two of theirs. When Pi and Little Doll came, they sent Jack and Mesmer, too. They were both around six months of age.
As soon as I opened the carrier, this big fluffy grey and white cat popped out and jumped on my lap. He had never seen me before, but was very friendly and loving.
I thought he had to be older than six months when he came to me because he was sooo big. But he grew bigger and bigger, reaching his full adult size around the end of 2007.
He was best friends with my Bel Prince, who was hit by a car on December 29, 2007. Up until then, he had been allowed to play outside. After Prince died, Jack was kept inside. He wasn't happy about it and now he had no playmate. Pi and Little Doll are friendly, but not as young as Jack or as playful. Princess (aka Hissy Girl) was not socialized yet, and neither was Mesmer, who is very shy.
He has befriended Mesmer and is teaching Mezmer how to play! Mesmer has become his best playmate.
He is a third or fourth-hand cat. My friends got him from a woman whose ad they answered about something else. He was, perhaps, two or three months old. They commented on him and ended up taking him home. They don't know where she got him from.
I do not know his exact weight, but he is very large and somewhat overweight.
He has this large fluffy tummy that he loves to have rubbed. He checks out every guest and is very polite, but hurt, if they do not pet and admire him. He is sweet, lovely, affectionate, very curious. When I am making something in the kitchen, he comes and sits on the plastic container near the sink so he can see what I am doing. He likes to look out the windows and see what is going on in the yard.
No bag or box is complete without him trying to get in it. It is a comical sight, his head and the front part of his body in a small sack, his big fluffy rump and tail sticking out!
