I just need to write to apologize for the confusion I created when I posted on Tuesday that I would have to help Apollo to the Bridge. Even though I expected the worst I was still devastated that the ultrasound showed that he has spots of cancer in his liver, pancreas and intestines. That day, he was very sick and in pain and I didn't want him to hurt, so I really thought that the time had come for us to part. But our vet said not to rush so I threw myself into caring for Apollo and didn't come to Catster for a day.
It shouldn't come as a surprise to any Catsters that the Power of the Paw really does work. Apollo's pain has subsided, he's more alert but also is able to sleep deeply (which is his normal schedule during the day), and he is starting to eat on his own. As we all know, cancer has no cure, so I know there will be no miracle "cure". But the miracle here is the Catster Power of the Paw -- the loving thoughts, the kindness, the understanding -- as we help each other through whatever life throws at us.
There is no need for you to apologize or be embarrassed if you sent Bridge rosettes or posts. The love, concern and understanding is what I see, so there is certainly no need to apologize for that.
Apollo and I may have months together, or weeks, or only days. However long it is, we will take it ... enjoy it ... and know our love for each other and all of our Catster friends.

You keep up the good work, Apollo's meowmy!! And Apollo, we'll keep purring for you!!! Purrs, The Taneytown Crew
It doesn't matter to us what you originally wrote. That's what you thought was going to happen at the time. But it's a wonderful miracle that happened that he doesn't have to go just yet and that's all we care about. Is that you two have more quality time left together! The POP really does work and we're going to keep it up as long as he's here and needs it. He loves you and is clearly not ready to leave you yet. You've been given a gift of more time and we will continue to purr hard and loud that time is very long.
Very happy that Apollo is doing a bit better and able to be with you!
Dear Apollo and his Mommy Eloise,
We are sending much love and many purrs. I want Apollo and you to know that tonight mommy will light a special candle for him, and Mommy and Daddy are sending healing energy to Apollo-and peace and serenity to you.
