Arrival Story:
Cheddar was a cat at the shelter where I volunteer. My mom and I became volunteers at the shelter in January 2006 and Cheddar had recently come to the shelter. His previous family had suffered a fire in their home. Apparently Cheddar came to the shelter covered in soot! Anyway, I was in the process of buying a house and I said that if Cheddar hadn't been adopted by the time I moved into my house, I'd adopt him...by May, he was still there so he came home with me!!

Bio:
After I adopted Cheddar, we discovered he has a heart murmur...but that doesn't seem to slow him down!! 10/17/08 Cheddar went to the Rainbow Bridge today. The vet thinks he had a stroke. Our poor little baby...thank the Goddess it was quick and relatively painless for him.
