Arrival Story: I was thinking about adopting a cat in college, so I went to a local pet store to pick up supplies. Someone had left 2 little black kittens, later named Henry and his brother Louie, outside the store in a box, and this store was trying to find them a home. They were scared to death, and their heads were all scratched and bruised, possibly from abuse. I've never had a black cat, but I had to rescue these 2.

Bio: Louie lives in Vancouver, Wa with his brother Henry and later feline addition, Howie.

Lives Remaining: 9 of 9

Have you ever met a trained cat? Well, meet Louie! He will sit when you ask him to, lay down, give head butts (hugs), kisses, jumps up/down, speaks, and will tell you if you've asked the right question. Are you hungry? Outside (porch)? Treat? All of my friends/family think it's hilarious!

I have noticed that my fun friend Howie has been gone for a long time, momma says 2 weeks as of tomorrow. I meow and paw at the door cause I want to go look for him, but momma has trained me not to go past the grass in front of our apartment, and since that's what Howie did and I haven't seen him since, I will just call for him. I sit on the front steps outside with momma, and I call for Howie, but he doesn't come. I am lonely too, Howie was so much fun to play with. Henry on the other hand seems happy, as Howie used to torment him. And I can see how sad momma is. When she gets home she has dinner and then goes out again. From the window I can see her walking around the neighborhood, as she carries a flier, showing and asking neighbors, and calls his name. She has them posted all around our apartments and the big one across the street, and on the light pole coming into the neighborhood. She has called and checked at the shelter, but nothing. I've been giving her extra hugs and cuddles, but she still seems so sad.
I hope nothing has happened to my friend Howie, and pray that he comes home soon. Will you do the same?
