Orange & White Tabby
I love to be pet and get lots of attention.
My foster mommy will not let me outside. She's afraid I'll get lost or hurt again.
My foster pug, Wyatte. I just love to play with him and he loves to play with me too.
Favorite Nap Spot:
I love to nap on the computer chair so I can check my adoption mail regularly.
I am currently eating California Natural Chicken and Brown Rice. My foster mom will send me home with a bag of it when I find my furever home!!
I chase my brother pug around the house jumping on my back legs. It makes foster mom crack up laughing to watch me do it.
I was found in the dumpster area of a Mc Donalds parking lot. My foster mommy was kind enough to take me to the animal hospital that she works at, where I received some special care by the vet and the technicians that work there.I had suffered a fractured elbow and had various areas on my body that had road rash. After a week of restriction and soaks two to three times a day to one of my wounds, I have made a full recovery. I no longer limp and my road rash is almost gone. Unfortunately, this in not the end of my journery. The person who rescued me is not able to keep me. So, she has decided to make me a profile on catster in the hopes that someone out there will see my handsome face and give me a furever home!!
I am an extremely handsome orange and white intact male tabby cat who is a little under a year old. I am very affectionate and love lots of attention. My foster mom says that I am a little ball of energy and I spend most of my days chasing my foster brother pug all over the house. We just love to play together. I get along well with children, small dogs, and other cats. I have started my vaccination series and the animal hospital where I was cared for (which my foster mom works at) have banded together to help with the expense of finishing my vaccination series and getting me neutered so that it will be easier for me to find a furever home. So, if you're interested in me, please send me an adoption mail!!

Dearest Catster Kitties,
I've come here today to purr the happiest news and abandoned kitty could ever hope for. My foster mommy came home from work yesterday and told me that I have a furever home!! I HAVE BEEN ADOPTED!! It took everything in me not to dance all over the house like a crazy cat, so I just did it anyway!! My foster mom says that I will be going to my new home the weekend of June 1st. And the best part about it is that it's her office manager's brother in law that will be taking me. So that means foster mommy can get updates and pictures of me whenever she wants. The thing that makes her rest easier is that she knows I will be in a safe and loving environment.
Of course foster mommy is a little bit sat, but I've been giving her lots of extra love and attention. I knew that she couldn't keep me, but I appreciate the fact that she put so much time and money (well, it wasn't too much) into my rehabilitation and care to ensure I got the home that I deserve. I know that she will miss me and I will most definately miss her, but I can't help to be excited about my new home. I will be sure to let all of you know how it goes.
Excited purrs and headbonks,

purrs to all of you!! i can't believe how many furriends i have made on catster already. and all of you are full of kind words and support!! what a great place!!
any hoo, i had my one week re-check this past saturday. i was nervous at first cause foster mom put me in that crate thing again and put me in the car. i meowed the entire way there. then, when one of the techs took me out to put me in my hospital cage, i was shaking like a leaf!! foster mom put a towel over my cage so that i could just chill out. i guess i was so scared because i didn't know what was going to happen. the last time i had gotten in a car, the trip left me homeless and in a lot of pain.
i should have known better, though. everyone at the vets office where foster mom works are just the greatest people ever. the doctor is actually the one who gave me my name. they gave me lots of extra attention and love in between appointments, which i liked a whole lot. one of the techs really wants to take me home, but she has to talk to her boyfriend about it because her mom said "no more cats!!" foster mom hopes that she can take me so that she will know that i will be well taken care of and she can get regular updates. she'll even be able to see me too!!
anyway, my doctor says that i am doing really well. foster mom doesn't have to soak my boo boo elbow anymore and i have stopped limping, so i don't need to be on restriction anymore. my doctor is extremely happy with how well i recovered. foster mom even decided to start my vaccinations. she thinks that this will help me find a home faster. i had my rabies booster and my initial distemper booster. i have to go every two to three weeks until i am done my distemper series. it's not so bad and all of them at the doctors office say that i am a very brave kitty. i just hope being brave helps me find a home sooner!!

Greetings to all of you!! I am Chevy's foster mom and I have decided to post this diary in order to save some time in finding him a foster home. I may have a lot of questions and many of you may be annoyed by this, but he is my first foster kitty and I want to make sure I am making the right choice for him. So, here goes..
1.) How close to Cape May do you live? I only ask this so that I can make the proper arrangements in order to transport Chevy safely to his new home. I prefer not to have to fly him anywhere, but would like to arrange a place to meet in order to get him to his new home.
2.) Do you have any other pets or children? Chevy is a very socialized cat. He gets along with small dogs and children quite well. I am not too sure how he gets along with larger dogs.
3.) Do you have a family veterinarian? I ask this question because it is very important to Chevy's health. He will need to be neutered and have annual vaccinations. I hope to start his vaccination series soon, but have already taken on quite a hefty bill getting him the x-rays and medications that he needed. Having him neutered is a must so that he doesn't contribute to overpopulation which results in unwanted pets.
These are the three most important questions that I will ask potential adopters. I hope that this will not discourage you in any way. Chevy is a very special kitty and I know that he will make a great addition to your family!!
