Arrival Story:
I was born a feral cat in a neighborhood infested with evil boys. With sticks. I HATE sticks. Don't hold one around me, got it? Needless to say the moron boys liked smacking cats around with sticks. I learned to be cautious. One day a Good Family moved into the Big House in that same neighborhood. They started putting out food for us feral cats. That was nice. I instinctually trusted them. But still I stayed away. Until one day, my pregnant belly was so big I couldn't move fast enough to hunt properly. So I went to the food dish they put out. One of the Good Girls saw me (and my giant belly, hence the name Big Mama). She didn't smack me with a stick. Or chase me away. Or touch me. I decided I liked her. So when I had my kittens, I brought 'em over. The Good Family fed them and looked after them after I weened them. I stuck around too.

Bio:
I stuck it out with the Good Family. I left all my litters with them. They were nice. They never hit me. Still I couldn't help but flinch and shy away every time they held a stick or something similar. They were smart enough to figure that meant I had a history with Bad People and tried not to pick up sticks around me too often. Pretty cool of them. I stayed with them for the rest of my life. When I got sick toward the end, I left. They'd been so good to my families and I. I couldn't let them see the end.

Big Mama's World

Hello.

March 24th 2008 3:53 pm   [link to this entry]

My daughters think I need a diary. I don't. Words are overrated. Claws work just fine for my kind of communication. My daughters say this'll help me make friends. They think I need to be social. I... guess so. So. Hi. That's all I got.

Big Mama.
