Birthday: March 24th 1999 Likes: My Pillow... I bought two more to give her one...but she spread out on all three and owns the pillow, but was kind enough to give me a corner to lay on... LOL! Favorite Nap Spot: (My) Her Pillow on the bed Favorite Food: I have caught my daughters giving her fresh broiled chicken breast a nibble. indoors Arrival Story: We never asked for another cat... We had plenty with the rescue..but a family over 5 hours away were devastated, In a Panic and really sadden to find out their baby was allergic to their 7 year old Princess they had for 6 years. They tried everything to bring the dander down and even let her outside for little bits to keep her away from the baby, but the baby was extremely allergic and everything the Vet and Dr's suggested didn't work due to such a extreme allergy. The family wrote to the Rescue I volunteer with and I was the one that recieved the email plee for help to save Patches. Everyone told me they were full and reminded me I was extremely full at the time too!
I told the family if they could do a full health asses and provide the records so She would be immediately adoptable.... then I would take her.
She didnt work out in one Loving home that realized she was not a bit happy. She had fit right into our home beautifully and chose us ...
I had her on petfinders a few more months until one tragic day my own 14 yr Young Girl Tiger had Cancer that was spreading quickly through her system. We had a few days before she became uncomfortable and the Vet decided it was time. Patches stayed by my side and never left me since! Patches chose us and We are Blessed by Her being a part of our family every day!
Her first family rescued her from a Humane Soceity and spoiled, Pampered, Cared Very Much and loved Her Very Much! How She turned out to stay such a Special and affectionate Girl after such a move from a loving home into a home with so much activity and kids is because her first family gave her such a wonderful Start!...She is amazing and Loved!
Her first family will alwease be in her hearts... They didn't just dump her and go... they cared so much to care for her with everything needed and still write to check up on her. They will alwease be her first family and We are Her second family. Not every kitty has two families... >^..^<
