Arrival Story:
Purry was a drop off at a friends house. One night we werehaving a barbeque and purry walked to near my friend's husky. All of a sudden we heardethe kitten scream. We looked for him and found him writhing on the ground. The husky had crunched him. So I said I would take him away. My friend thought I was taking him away to die (so their kids wouldn't see) but at 11 pm at night I am looking at this tiny thing in a Box at my side and I head to the emergency animal hospital in Poughkeepsie(an hour away). When I get there they ask me to decide weather to put him down or spend pehaps 700 dollars trying to save him. Of corse no garentees he would make it through the night. Of corse I said, Lets give him a chance! I spent the night in a nearbye motel. So with 100% oxygen and sedation and antibiotics. he was standing the next morning!!! Meowing at me. So three days in a local veterenary hospital and 2 nights in the emergency night hospital, I had myself another cat.We had 7 very good years. He was full of personality, slept under the covers with me and stole all the other cats food. He was quite a character.

Bio:
On December 21st, 2010 I took Purry into the vet. The poor guy had urinary blockage. I couldn't afford the 800 dollar vet bill , so I had him put down.
