Changes

It's been a long time since I wrote in my diary. I've been sleeping a lot and I can't really hold a singular thought when my time is so broken up by naps. It's like I'm thinking of all these really cool things -- cures for diseases and maybe the next great novel by the world's first catwriter -- but everytime I get motivated to write, I keep on falling asleep on the laptop. Both my cat parents have ADD and try to take medication to cure their symptoms. But all I have are my naps.

And now I have a new brother to deal with. He looks a lot like me, which is really confusing. It took me a long time to get past that whole mirror thing. You know, that reflecting thing that shoots your image back to you and makes you think to yourself, "Jesus Christ what is that????, it looks just like me!!!!". Mommy uses it a lot to do her hair and changes her clothes in front of it. Then she asks Daddy if he likes what she's wearing. Daddy always says yes, but Mommy changes again anyway. I like it when this happens because there's always fresh clothes to sleep on. My new brother always likes to play, which is really cutting into my sleep time. He does cuddle up next to me, which I guess I sorta like; but he steals my food and I get mad. I've caught Mommy looking at Petfinder, so I've been preparing myself for another kitty coming into my life. But I don't know how to feel. It's so hard. Sometimes they don't pay as much attention to me anymore and so much stuff is changing. I like my little brother, though.
