First time to the Vet

Trip To The Vet

Well, today my mom took me to the vet because I have a discharge from my eye. That nice doctor told that I have conjunctivitis and wants her to put eye drops in my eyes. Oh no! He also gave me an antibiotic for my kitty cold just to be on the safe side. The ride in the car and the time in the vet's office wasn't so scary this time. Stormy

Today my mom was going to take me in to get declawed, but mother nature threw a blizzard my way. Whew. I hate going to the vet's office. But, I only managed to postpone it for a week. Oh well. Stormy

First time to the Vet

I have an appointment today at 5 p.m. My guardian mom hopes that I will like being in my carrier to get there. She is a little apprehensive about that. I am going to get another rabies shot, hopefully a stool sample, although I am being a little stubborn on that end of me.

My mom has so many questions about me. I am sooo laid back. Is that normal. I have just puked three times in the space of three days. Am I too fat and how often should I eat. I will tell you how it went. This will be a good way to keep track of any changes. Stormy

UPDATE: Well, I am back from the Vet. I weigh 13 pounds. I have a little bit of gastritis so the doctor gave me a pill to take, which I am not doing a very good job at. I was good in my cat carrier, but I did not like getting my temperature taken by the vet, and I was soooo happy to leave that place. (My mom has not told me yet, but I am getting declawed next Tuesday).
