Daddy is a little late in writing this, but, we would like to thank every Fur who sent us a Gift and well wishes for my Gotcha Day. Daddy still does not believe its been 15yrs since he brought me home. I went from a homeless little outdoor kitten to the Queen and Boss. MOL, MOL.
Today I made 15, and daddy is very happy. He says I still run around like the first day he got me. Thanks to Daddy I am still alive today. Because, with me being so skinny all my life, we do not think I would have been able to make it thru my first winter outside. Love you Daddy.
To all of our friends, the reason no one has heard from us, is because crapster is so screwed up. Until last week, we were able to get around and answer pawmails. Since it crashed last week, trying to get anywhere without signing in a thousand times is getting outrageous, we try each day, but, until they manage to fix this ratthole, we are not going to be around too much, which is a shame. somedays we wish we never helped in trying to save this site, kind of wished they just locked up. So, hopefully you will hear from us, before daddy goes on Social Security, MOL, MOL. Daddy is still thinking of just leaving, he is just tired of all the excuses, and everything else with this site.
The process has been excruciatingly slow, because there are a gazillion moving pieces to get realigned. Unlike SAY Media, however, the i5 engineers are actually working on stuff. They even enlisted the assistance one of the engineers, who worked on the sites back in the old days. The Community Team has had several meetings with i-5's team trying to chart a course out of the mess. The login issue is being worked on. Things get better for a while, but as they work on other parts of the sites, the login problem resumes.
Renovating the sites is a huge undertaking. Over two years of virtually no upgrades or maintenance is a lot to deal with and there is no small amount of frustration that comes along with that process.
Meows! & Tail Waves!
The login issue is driving everyone crazy.
Yes, they did fix the PayPal and zealie purchase options, which happened to be one of the most member-requested items, but did you also notice that i-5 has continued to refund those subscriptions and zealie purchases? The fix was to maintain convenience for our members regarding their memberships and zealie balances, but our new owners haven't been keeping the revenue. They want the sites fixed first.
The Techno Cats are still working on the login issue. That's why over the last several days members have been getting a request to accept a Catster or Dogster cookie. Obviously, they are not done working on the problem, but actual work is being done, versus the no-work being done that got us into this mess during the latter part of SAY's ownership.
i-5 is working through a list of dozens of problems that were left unresolved by SAY. We have no way of knowing how long it will take and there may very well be some features which are beyond repair.
