Arrival Story:
When my mom died, I knew I had to find a job outside the home, & because Punky had never been alone for more than a couple hours, I decided he needed a sister. Known as Gabby because she was such a talker, she was just over a year old & had been dumped at the Humane Society with a huge belly of kitties. They all found homes, but she was overlooked. She looked like a little lost waif, skinny with a kitty tail (straight & not well-furred). She had moxie, though, & I fell in love right away. She came home to be spayed & then lived in a spare bedroom for a while. She & Punky got to know each other under the door, & they were switched for a couple hours each day. Talley was the most curious cat I've ever seen--she noticed & investigated EVERYTHING!! In a couple weeks, the two were together under mom's supervision with a spray bottle at the ready. It went very well, & within 2 days, they could live together if they weren't alone. It took a while longer before I dared to leave them alone together, but its has gone well. I can't imagine life without my Talley. cuddlecat
