Arrival Story: I had always wanted a cat, and my boyfriend at the time had just had a litter of kittens. I asked over the phone what kind they were, and he told me there was a little white one with blue eyes and an orange tail. His mother was on her way to the pound with her, and I called and told her I wanted the white one. She turned right around and drove an hour back to my house and gave her to me. Wilbur has been my little sweetheart ever since.

Bio: Wilbur lived in Arizona for the first two years of her life. She was an indoor/outdoor cat. She does have a touch of allergies, where her nose runs and she sneezes quite a bit, but they're seasonal and go away within a month or two. When I moved away, my mother let her out while she was in heat and she got pregnant. Izzy was born and was the only one we kept. When Wilbur got pregnant with her second litter, my mother had her spayed and aborted 8 kittens.
When I moved to Wisconsin, we drove back down a few months later and picked up all three of the kitties, Izzy, Charlotte and Wilbur. They didn't much like the 28 hour drive, but once they got home, they acclimated pretty quickly to being indoor only cats and are very happy.
A couple months ago, a new cat was introduced to the house, Tom. He is the youngest, but has fully integrated into the family. Wilbur doesn't like him much, because she was subjected to quite a few male cats when she got pregnant with both litters of kittens.
