The seven fun facts about me!

1) I love my Mommy VERY much but I seldom like anyone else.
2) I love to eat, but I only eat until I'm full... unless it's treats!!!
3) I love to sleep in the most uncomfortable position for Mom.
4) I slobber when I'm being petted.
5) I lost 4 lbs in the past year! YAY!
6) I grew up in the city and have never been outside. When Mom was staying with Grandma and Grandpa at the farm, I was allowed to go on the sundeck, but once I climbed a tree and didn't know how to get back down! Grandpa had to climb up after me and get me down! I was crying and Mommy was crying.
7) I have never used a scratching post since my very first one died. I have refused them all and moved on to Mom's furniture. But since Mom has discovered cardboard cat scratchers, I have taken quite a shine to them and now leave Mom's furniture alone.

*******A Note from my mom

All those prayers must have been working!

Found out that Kaiser has really bad allergies. The vet believes that it may have stemmed from an insect bite of some sort, but he is checking all options since he had this condition (albeit milder) last summer. He is checking to see if food may have something to do with the severity and the loss of hair. So Kaiser is starting his detox diet as soon as the food comes in (couple days) and is on antibiotics and predisone for now.

Let's just hope Rascal isn't too smug with her bedtime snacks since Kaiser won't have them for a while...

Prayers Needed

Please pray for my little brother Kaiser. He is very sick and Mom is expecting the test results next week. I hope he is ok!

More about Me...

After all... it's all about me y'know...

Mom, Kaiser and I moved to our new house in early December. I like it here! No more of those annoying puppies at my Grandma's house! I'm in my zone. Kaiser knows and adheres to MY rules and it makes my life a lot easier.

There is so many spots here to sleep and not be disturbed. Mom bought Kaiser a nice big crate, but you see... I liked it too. So it's mine now. Too bad for you Kaiser.. but you snooze, you lose!

I went to the vet's last week because Mom was concerned about a patch of bad skin on my back. Apparently the vet thinks I'm too old to wash myself properly anymore. PAH! But he gave me a nice long brush with a special comb so finally a vet visit I liked!! Mom bought the special comb and brushes me for a long time every night.. I'm in heaven!!!

and best of all.... it makes Kaiser jealous!!!

Ummm.. I noticed Mom has been putting something in my food... I think it's medicine.. but it sure tastes good... so I'll just pretend I don't notice.

Mommy and the vet were talking about my kidneys. The vet seems worried about me and I overheard him and Mom talking about blood tests.... OHHHH... I don't like needles. Pray for me!

Well, that's all for today... back to bed I go. Maybe Mom will give me a treat before I sleep. One can always wish. It's not like I'm obvious or anything.
