Arrival Story:
She was a feral kitten left at our old house. Instead of leaving her behind when we moved, we trapped her and brought her with us. She liked her new digs!
Bio:
Her daddy worked very hard to start taming Smitt, until she would sleep in our laps if we sat on the deck. soon she began to stand at the french door and would come inside late at night, where she was very affectionate.
Soon this became an every night event. It became harder and harder to get Smitten to go outside int he mornings. One night she barrelled through the door as my husband opened the door, and has never gone outside again- even one day when the door was accidently left open.
She is amazingly tame and affectionate, and sleeps with us every night...laying as close to our bosies as possible.
She is a happy cat, who just wants to be loved! She is a blessing!
We lost Smitten August 18th 2009 to cancer. She was the best cat I had ever had. She knew what she wanted and made a conscious decision to become a domestic cat when she was born and raised wild. There will NEVER be another like Smit and I will miss her every night when I go to sleep. She was the once in a lifetime cat... just awesome.
