* Where is Oskerr....We live in a neighborhood with homes that have 3/4 - to once acre and up lots, it is not set up in the standard "blocks" but in curving roads, etc. There is alot of mature wooded acres and open areas ( a 3 acre pond behind out house 40 acres of woods beyond that, 40 acres across the street) it is very lush with lots of deer etc.
Our Cat Oskerr is a sweet fellow. He has gone through several moves with us and is just wonderful at adapting to new areas- we have been in this house for 3 years.
Oskerr has always been one of those cats where he will "pick a spot" to hang out in - inside or out- he will sleep on the rail for weeks at a time, he will sleep on the back porch and only the back porch for weeks at time then on the upper driveway then you will find him on the front porch swing the next week and there he stays...however OSKERR doesnt wander far from home....
A few months ago Oskerr started to sleep and hang around our neighbors drive way- which is not far from our house, maybe 45 weeks a way- we would call him and he would come trotting over happy as can be. He then moved to their other drive way on the far side of their house. Even though they actually live on another street- I would call and he would come. I would drive by and see him and talk to the neighbors about my cat. We are not friends- but they have animals and they seem like good people and are respected in our community. They knew Oskerr was our cat and they seemed OK with him hanging out there. They have a son who is in college who loves Osk, so it seemed OK.
Well the son has gone back to college- and my cat is nowhere to be found. I have been searching for over 10 days. Yesterday we went over to talk to them, to see if they had seen him, and the woman would not make eye contact with me and my husband. Her story changed from havent seen him in 2 weeks, to have seen him a few days...something smells fishy and it isnt cat food...WHERE is MY cat?
