Arrival Story:
It all started one morning in a small condominium when me and my 7 beautiful sibs were born into what was now a family of over 100 cats. We were not being loved, and our owner decided she did not want most of us anymore. So she gave most of us up. I got fixed and had my shots and stuff and then I went to a small pet store were all the employees loved me. They gave me treats and played with me. But I really wanted a home. December 7th hit, and I realized Christmas was coming. Oh boy! It would be my first one, I would FINALLY meet Santa! But then I realized, I really would like to spend my first Christmas with a family and forever home of my own- how great would that be??? And that night a nice family came into the store to look at fish. But I had other plans! I meowed, scratched the post, and rang me bell. Finally the girl came over and petted me! Then her mom... then her dad... They all told me how cute I was and petted me and within the next 10 minutes I had them hooked!!! The girl asked her dad the BIG QUESTION... "CAN WE GET HIM???"... he said yes... They talked to the man and he gave them some money. She kissed me and said goodbye. BUT WAIT- I thought he said yes? I thought they were gonna be my family!!! I went and laid in my hiding house and cried. I was so sad. Then in the morning they came back and put a collar on me. Then they wrapped me in a towel and took me outside- HOW COLD! Then we got home and played. I was one happy kitty.
