Today just happens to be the most special day of the entire year. On this day, exactly 4 years ago, I was born. Personally, I think today should be a national holiday. Something along the lines of Princess Minnie Day would be nice. But for now, I'm content with having everyone who crosses my path bow down before me and acknowledge my perfection. Well, everyone does that anyway, but today it's even more pronounced. I get petted more often, and I could get away with murder if I wanted to. Even my bully of a big brother Merlin hasn't messed with me today. Life is wonderful when you're as amazing as me.
Hello all! Today is my big brother Merlin's 5th birthday! I'm kind of jealous, actually. He's getting all kinds of attention, just because it's his birthday. I mean, what's the big deal? Sure, you don't turn 5 every day. But he's acting like he's some big man, strutting around, kicking me out of all my sleeping spots. He does that everyday anyway, but he's acting extra cocky. You won't catch ME acting like that on MY birthday. Which, by the way, is in exactly one month. Everyone mark your calendars!
Hoppy Easter everyone! I hope the Easter bunny brought everybody lots of yummy cat treats and toys! I didn't get anything because Mommy doesn't have a lot of extra money this year. I understand though. I don't care about that, as long as I get plenty of attention! First thing this morning, Mommy put on my prettiest collar-- pink with little pink rosettes on it. I think I look pretty darn good. I've been in front of the mirror all day, admiring my reflection. I was really happy, until I saw what my doggy sister got to wear-- a frilly pink dress. Not fair! Just because last time Mommy put clothes on me I scratched her, now I don't get to wear any at all! She thought I scratched her because I didn't like wearing a dress, but it was really because I didn't want her to take it off.
Other than that, it's been a good Easter so far. Daddy called last night to say "Bonne Pacques" to everyone. He says it that way because he was raised in Paris. I'm so jealous! What I want more than anything is to go to Paris and show those cats what fashion is REALLY about. Alas! C'est la vie. Maybe someday I will live out my dream.
