So we got a new neighbour a few weeks ago who also happens to be the new superintendent of the building. Mommy and Daddy are on really good terms with him and he's a really nice guy. He also had two cats. So far, I've snuck into the hallway twice and ran into his apartment when he opened the door. He wouldn't let me explore around too much because I have claws and his cats don't. So this morning I decided to scope the place out better. I crept onto the balcony (which I'm not allowed to do in the first place) and hopped over to his balcony and into his home. I stayed there for 2 hours before deciding to come back. Mom wasn't too happy with me, but I sure had fun!

My brother Sesshy likes to bug me...A LOT. Okay, it's actually playing, but he always manages to sneak up on me when I least suspect it. The other day Mommy went grocery shopping and brought the food home in a big cardboard box. Since I'm a cat, I love boxes and I decided to hide in it. Sesshy came up and started sniffing it, totally unaware I was in there (heehee). I popped up like a Jack-in-the-box and startled him so much he fell over backwards. Mom wished she had a camera because she was the only one that saw this and no one else could figure out why she was laughing so hard!

Mommy and Daddy went to the Humane Society today to visit the other kitties and so that Mom could put in an application to volunteer. Along the way, they stopped at a pet store to buy some catnip for me and Sesshy. Dad happened to mention my name and the lady behind the counter exclaimed, "You're the ones who adopted Cloud?!" It turns out that she was friends with the nice family that had fostered me when I was little! Mom and Dad stayed and talked with her for almost an hour and they exchanged stories about me :-)
When they got to the Humane Society, the workers all asked how I was doing and Roxanne, the wonderful woman who works there and helped my family to adopt me, said that she had just been talking about me today! Apparently, there's another kitty who has been looking for a furever home and hasn't found anyone yet because he has a small nasal problem. Roxanne told him that he would find his furever home one day, just like me!
Mom and Dad were really happy to see everyone there, and even happier to see that many cages were empty and that all those familiar faces who once inhabited them had gone on to find great families of their own! Slowly but surely, the Super Star list is getting smaller and smaller as more of them find furever homes. Cross your paws and fingers that Mom can get in for a weekend volunteer job!
