Arrival Story:
I had been looking for a cat for months. I wanted a long haired female cat. I was looking for a Persian, Calico or Persian Calico mostly. I went to the Greater Birmingham Humane Society to give them some wish list items & to look at the animals when I spotted her. Someone else had already claimed her & they were coming back with their other cat to see if the match would work. It turns out that Twinkle doesn't like other cats so they couldn't adopt her. I just figured the next day that she'd be adopted, but I called anyway. Was I shocked to find that she was still available! I went back as soon as I got off work & I adopted her. She's been such a joy!

Bio:
Twinkle was surrendered to the Greater Birmingham Society by her previous owners a few months before I adopted her. The reason listed was that they didn't have time for her. I can't believe that anyone wouldn't have time for her.

I've been tagged by Wolfgang Vladimir LePew to write 7 facts about myself in my diary & then tag 7 friends who haven't been tagged yet to do the same.

Here are my 7 facts about myself:

1. I rarely meow unless I'm upset in some way or I want something.

2. I love laying on my back with my back legs straight out & my front paws crooked in front of me.

3. I sometimes suffer from separation anxiety when mommy leaves to go to work.

4. I love pawing at mommy through the cracks in the doors.

5. I always sleep on mommy's bed.

6. I almost always lay my head on mommy's arm & knead my paws into the extra pillow for a few minutes before I go to sleep.

7. I usually hide under mommy's bed when I'm scared.

Thanksgiving Tag!

I was tagged by Isabelle for the Thanksgiving Tag Game! Isabelle said that I have to say 5 things that I'm thankful for so here I go:

1. I am thankful for my mommy. She adopted me after I was surrendered by my previous owners at a local animal shelter. I now have the forever home I've always wanted & I have someone who loves me & gives me the attention I crave.

2. I am thankful for the good food & treats mommy gives me.

3. I am thankful for the variety of neat toys I have to play with.

4. I am thankful for the fact that mommy finally got around to cleaning out her spare bedroom so that she could finally let me in there to romp around & play.

5. I am thankful for all the items I have to climb & lay on like the couch, loveseat, chairs, bed, etc.
