I'm like my human in that I really jut can't be bothered to write in a journal often. We both find it annoying.
Since the last entry here is what has happened. My friend Crusher was sadly very sick. She did not make it. It was very upsetting. Her human moved to the UK after graduation so that was the last I've seen of them.
My human had the nerve to take a job in New York City. I ended up going back to Pasadena for the first few months of her absence. I like it there, the grass, the smells, it's all very exciting. Around Christmas, my human returned to visit me. I had no idea of the journey that was in store for me. I hate car rides-but a plane, I had never been on and basically hated more than anything. The journey was so long, by the time we got to her apartment I was scared and freaked by the whole experience. I found a good dark space in the closet where I hung out for a couple of days.
For a few months I was jumpy-not used to all the noises of New York. There are these pigeons that hang out on her windowsill (something I've just started to do-too high at first) that one day I will kill.
Until then.

This weekend Amanda my human and I moved. She decided that she needed to be closer to campus, (she's a grad student) so that she would be in the car less and with me more. For the most part I approve of this. There were however a few setbacks...the greatest one being that I had to ride in a car for a while. Lucky for me, my human lets me out of the carrier when were mobile, I still have a hard time dealing with all the craziness but I understand it's for the greatest good. Sometimes we have to make personal sacrifices to appease those that feed us. Oh such is life.
This new place is pretty much the same as the other...my toys are here, so is my bed and my kitty grass. Last night was the first night in my new place and I spent it cuddling with my human. She seems to like it quite a bit, probably because I'm so soft and gorgeous. I can't wait till it gets cooler and we get to sit in front of the fireplace and chill. I've missed my human, I'm one of those social cats and she is gone quite a bit, when she is home she spends time typing which doesn't leave her hands free to pet me. Some nerve!
On a sadder note, a good friend of my human's feline is on some medication. Manda and I have discussed this and I have made up my mind to think good thoughts for Crusher. May she have a speedy recovery, it is afterall a travisty that such a beautiful specimen would go through so much pain.
As for Catster, it's been a great way to meet others of the Feline persuasion. I don't like to be around others but it's good to vent to those that understand. Often I get frustrated when I speak and my human doesn't understand.
