Arrival Story:
For most of my life, I didn't like cats or dogs. I was the person who politely avoided them when I visited a home where one was present. After buying a house, I decided I wanted a dog but my schedule would make that difficult. Friends and family suggested a cat, which I foolishly thought would not be as affectionate as a cat. I did my research and decided on a Russian Blue. I found a little blue mix kitten for adoption with with Michigan Cat Rescue and decided to adopt her. I brought her home and she disappeared on me. I thought to myself, "Great. This was a mistake." But she quickly came out of hiding and she has since become my dear little girl.
