My husband and I were at his uncle's one night, and his mom and grandma started in on me about how we should get a cat and that they are so cute and easy to take care of, etc. (I was never a fan of cats.) I figured Ryan had said something to them about wanting a cat, but he didn't want to ask me since I didn't like them. I finally caved and told him we could get one; the next day I found out he hadn't been thinking of wanting one, so we're not sure why mom and grandma were saying those things! We went to the nearest humane society and as soon as Ryan picked up Muffin, we new she was ours. I love her so much - I have to say that I like cats now!
Bio:
Muffin is the most cuddly cat I have ever encountered. She loves being by people and being held - and if she wants some attention she will let you know it! She is still a kitty so she has lots of energy...and for some reason wants to kill all fake plants. In the morning she wakes me up by sticking her cold nose all over my face; if that doesn't work, she hits me with her paw (or starts gymnastics on the dresser and knocks everything off..very nice.) Recently Muffin learned how to turn on the alarm clock when she gets impatient with our slow awakening. She always runs to the door when someone comes over and loves to play with her doggie and cat cousins. She is also very happy with the newest addition to our family - our little puppy Shula! They play chase and Muffin loves to tease her. They have turned our house into a race track with all of their running. Muffin is still pretty small for a kitty, but she is a beautiful cat. We love her!

Well, I think I'm starting to like my new fur-sister, Lucy. She didn't seem to like me at first, so I kinda stayed away from her, but now I like to try to get her to play! (She doesnt' do that either yet.) BUT we nap together on the back of the couch and sometimes she doesn't even HISS at me when we're in Mom and Dad's room. I don't know why she thinks the bed is HERS! I was here first! But now we cuddle with Mommy in the morning until she gets up to feed us! I think it will be just fine...

Muffin - 1, Humans - 0. Daddy thought he would be all smart and put a collar on me. I didn't mind the collar, per say, but the bells on it gave me away! It's very hard to sneak up on THAT DOG when I'm ringing all over the place! So, anyways, on Friday night I got that thing off and hid it reeeaaaalll good. No one will EVER find it. Dad thinks maybe I buried it my box just to show what I thought of it, and mom thinks the dog may have pulled it off of me and stashed it. But I'll never tell...
