She was born a single kitten, and her mother didn't want her. Instead of feeding her, her momcat would leave, or lay on top of her [I think this resulted in brain damage, because Lycan is far from bright]. However, her aunt, who had had a litter of five the day before, carted the kitten off and took her in as her own.
