Arrival Story:
When we were ready to adopt kitties, we heard of a woman who needed to get rid of her 10-month-old Bengal (Bailey) and 9-year-old Persian (Jewel). We took them both.

Bio:
For the first year we had Jewel, we thought she was primarily a sleeper, very sweet, and not very bright. We adopted Teazer (2-year-old Bengal) as a pet for Bailey and Jewel's inner b#*ch came out! Teazer was terrified of intact females, which was why he was retired as a stud. Jewel immediately sensed this and in an instant became more active than we'd ever seen her. She stalked and chased Teazer and we would find her snoozing way high up on the cat trees, where she'd never ventured before Tee arrived. Eventually, she and Teazer found peace. She focused her evil eye on Sammy the Serpent. Though he is about 3 times her size, she intimidates him. She's a tough ol' gal.
