Arrival Story:
It is a wonderful story how I rescued Gettawae. One of my patient's died. Her husband died 3 weeks after she did. They had no other family and no children. Before she died I was holding her hand in the hospital and asked her to squeeze my hand twice if she wanted me to have Gettawae. She squeezed twice with tears coming out of her eyes. She couldn't talk she had a stroke and paralized on one side. That's all it took for me. I knew there was nobody else to care for this cat. Everytime Madge came in I got to hear the wonderful stories of her beloved kitty "Gettawae." She would bring all of his pictures to the office visit to show me and the doctor. She loved this kitty with all her heart. He was the light of her life. I knew every story, every naughty thing he had done. I knew he was truly meant to come into my life. I know she is up in heaven smiling knowing Gettawae is loving his life. Out of all my seven cats this little guy is quite different. He truly has a personality that I have never seen before. Gettawae is very humble and takes life smoothly. He gets along with all the other kitties but Gettawae could certainly live without them. He is the ONLY cat that won't sleep with me. He will get on the bed but doesn't remain there. He has his own little perch by the window next to the bed. He LOVES attention. Gettawae is the favorite in the neighborhood. Everyone knows his name and he goes up to anyone for attention. Which makes me very nervous! I wish he wasn't so friendly I worry about him. Not to many cats will just walk up to anyone. He loves to play but when he is done playing you better stop..You will get the nails and paws in your hair.

Bio:
I love this kitty soooooooooo much. He's all black and is absolutley the most beautiful cat! His hair is thick and soft I just love rubbing my face in his fur and giving him kisses. He is such a cuddle bug too. Oh and I might add this is hilarious. He ONLY drinks out of the faucet. Madge spoiled him this way. I have the most expensive water filter fountain for all the animals and he won't go near it..Every morning at the speed of light he jumps on the kitchen counter to get his water and be fed. He gets to eat on the counter as well. Oh this kitty is spoiled rotten. But I love him so much!
