Black and White

He loved his Daddy & loved to purr. He always got in bed with us and walked on our pillows, purring like crazy. He was an excellent hunter, able to kill large squirrels. He was fascinated by snakes and lizards.

I don't think he had any. He fought with Paul all the time, but I think Paul started it. Critter taught Bob well. She jumped him every single day for a year, then got down to about once a month. One time Bob & Paul were fighting & broke the screen door.

Favorite Toy:
Anything alive. He was a big-time hunter. If we didn't stop him, he would maime & torture squirrels and drag it out all day long. Had to make him stop because he could be cruel. He was just having fun, but not so for the squirrels.

Favorite Nap Spot:
He liked to sleep with Whiskers, a stuffed kitty that looked just like him. Anywhere I put Whiskers, that's where we'd find Bobby.

Favorite Food:
EZ Cheese, raw squirrel meat. Did not like lizard legs. He barfed them up whole.

He could say "Cheese" and came when you called him. He made everyone like him. Everyone always said, "Bob's my favorite."

indoors and outdoors

Arrival Story:
We were outside the evening of July 5th, 1996, with our sweet Katie Kitty. She started meowing and looking up into a big tree. We finally saw what she saw....Bobby! He was easily coaxed into coming down and immediately adopted us as his very own. We later found out that he liked to take naps inside cars. Maybe he got into someone's car, they were driving down the highway on their way to a July 4th celebration, Bob woke up unhappy to be riding in a car, and he jumped out the window. Maybe they threw him out? Maybe he ran away. We really don't know how he got here, but we're SO glad he did!

Bob had a great big dot on his chin, so we named him Dottie. A few days later we changed HIS name to Bob, for obvious reasons. Bob had already been neutered. Bobby & Paul never got along. Neither did Critter & Bob. But Bob got along with Sammie & Katie & Bessie & Muffin just fine. When we had our raccoon (Ziggy) & our o'possum (Opie) Bobby liked them both a lot and didn't try to kill Opie. Bobby lived to be 9 years old and went to the Rainbow Bridge on 02/16/2004, just 18 days after our precious Sammy died. It was a very, very sad day for us and we still talk about him and miss him.

Hey! Just stopping by to say hello. My Mom, cat, put some pictures of me into her computer today. She also did pictures for my sisfur, Critter. Now you will have more to look at than just that big blob of cat hair that was on her page for so long.

Mom and Dad always say I was "quite a guy." Hmmmm, you know, I think I was!

If I get tired of playing with Paul & all my other cool cat pals, I might stop in to chat sometime. Don't hold your breath, though, cuz I'm having too much fun.

BTW, Mom says I could easily have fixed your little "Chet" problem. I was a master squirrel killer. Yum! Tastes like chicken. :)

Head-bonks to all,
