indoors Arrival Story: Like most of the AAWL's animals, Rose came to us from Maricopa County Animal Control (the local "pound"). All of our animals are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, and microchipped. Visit our other adoptable animals at www.aawl.org. Bio: Just like the flora for which she is named, Rose has blossomed here at the AAWL/SPCA. Once preferring to hide, she now spends her time walking confidently around her room, checking out new and familiar smells alike. Her favorite smell is that of people: when she's feeling particularly affectionate, she'll race right towards you. Eager to get her share of the attention, Rose will let you pick her up and if you sit, she'll snuggle in next to you, closing her eyes in bliss as you rub the back of her neck. This sweetie is also good with brushing, chattering softly as you pull the comb through her coat. Because she loves her people so much, she can sometimes act defensively towards other cats, so she should live with other felines who will establish boundaries with her. Rose's adoption fee is $95.
