Quick Bio:

If sleeping were an Olympic event, she'd get the gold! KiKi likes the feel of 'bed winds'. That is when you're making up the bed and loft the sheet up and let it settle around her.

Hates being groomed...she'd rather do it herself, being indoors, her pet taxi, and being told 'no'

Favorite Toy:
small furry toys, gold chains, and anything that dangles, flutters, or crawls

Favorite Nap Spot:
I am always finding her in different places. KiKi likes variety in her snoozles.

Favorite Food:
Purina Indoor cat food or anything she can beg, borrow or steal.

She 's a super dust bunny detector. Houdini's got nothing on this escape artist. She times her exit to the last second as the door closes, and she's gone! Which leads us to personal trainer...I then have to run her down.

Arrival Story:
KiKi was one week away from entering kitty heaven. My sister adopted her from a shelter, and smuggled her across the state line to come live with me. From the moment she left her pet taxi, KiKi laid claim to everything she touched. There was nothing shy about this kitty, and she was quick to explore her new surroundings. As I sat at the computer, she climbed up and perched on my shoulder, then eventually made her way onto my head. Later that night, she found her way to my bed and kept rooting under me like I was her mama. Before long, I was laughing hysterically, because I am very ticklish. She finally settled down and wound herself around my neck like a warm fuzzy boa.

KiKi is so clever at times, she scares me. I swear she knows what I am thinking, and is always two steps ahead of me. She has a knack for placing her swishing tail exactly where I am about to step, causing me to 'catdance' to avoid stepping on it. She hates for me to read the morning paper, and dips her paw in my drink and flings it at the back of the newspaper to gain my immediate attention. She likes to fake me out by staring intently out the window. When I look to see what is so facinating, I catch her fishing ice cubes out of my cup. On more than one occasion, I have caught her with her whole head in my cup bobbing for ice cubes. I am sure I've heard a kitty snicker a time or two coming from behind my newspaper. That's only one of her diversionary tactics. She loves to lurk around corners and make distress calls to lure me. Then pounces when I come running to see what's wrong. KiKi has a unique woo-woo-woop trill to locate me, when I am out of her line of sight. I've come to learn she is not MY cat, I am HER human & she keeps me jumping through all HER hoops!

I'm so happy to be chosen Catster's Cat of the Day! Thanks to all the new furiends I've made because of this honor. I received so many good wishes too. It almost makes me blush...ALMOST. Mama gave me kisses and even offered to let me go out in the snow. But when I stuck my head out...brrrrrr I backed right up. It was too cold--even tho I had my fur coat on. Looking out the door from the comfort of a warm house was much more appealing to me. Mama doesn't offer to let me out very often, and I have to try to sneak out. Funny...she only asks if I want out when there is snow on the deck or it's raining. thinks I've been had. Mama! (She didn't think I'd figure it out. humph! ::shakes paw in the air::)
