Arrival Story:
Trudy is my first cat. I found her on the Web site for the Humane Society of Concord (www.dogsaver.org/cabarrushumane) when she was a year old -- in her picture, she was sitting like a hen on her eggs, looking like she'd seen it all. I went to the shelter to visit, not necessarily to adopt Trudy that day, but to see what they had. The volunteer there said Trudy acted as a surrogate mother to some kittens that had come in without a mama. At that precise moment, Trudy went into the kittens' cage, took a big stinky poop in their litterbox, and left the cage. That made me laugh, and I decided she should definitely be my cat.

Bio:
Trudy has been very patient as I've brought more animals into the house, some to stay, some to foster until they find new homes. I always make sure she gets some special attention everyday so that she knows she is my special girl. She has the cutest little paws, and loves to have her butt scratched! She has a very high-pitched meow, and sometimes, when she is insistent that I pay attention to her, it sounds like she's screaming at me -- "NOW, LOVE ME!"
